Problem Statement
During paint production, foam formation and material deposits inside process tanks frequently interfered with conventional level sensors. This resulted in inaccurate level detection, false alarms, and operational challenges for the production team.

Solution
To ensure reliable level monitoring and uninterrupted production, a more robust sensing solution was required. The plant deployed Elixir, which are specifically designed to operate reliably even in the presence of coatings, buildup, and foam.
About Sensor
A compact liquid level sensor based on the tuning fork principle, is used for point level detection in storage tanks, silos and pipelines to avoid overfill & dry run conditions.
