Sapcon's Liqiuid Fork Level Limit Switch Sensor is now ATEX cetertified

We are excited to share a major milestone, Sapcon's best selling products :Elixir Namur(Elixir 8/16), Vital Namur(Vital 8/16) vibrating fork level limit switch sensor is now ATEX certified. Elixir Namur and Vital Namur have been assured by compliance with EN IEC 60079-0:2018 and EN 60079-11:2012 and is now suitable for II 1 G Ex ia IIC T6...T3 Ga (-20 °C ≤ Tamb ≤ +60 °C).

ATEX comes from the French term “ATmosphères EXplosibles” and is a European certification which confirms that it complies with European safety directives for equipment. The certification ensures that the device is designed and tested to prevent ignition risks caused by sparks, high temperatures or electrical faults. This makes it suitable for use in hazardous industrial environments such as chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, refineries, and dust-prone manufacturing units.

The certification will be helpful, exceptionally for "Zone 0" where explosive gas conditions are present for longer timeframe.Sapcon Intruments already has 30+ years of experience in providing solutions for applications requiring Ex-Proof housings in "Zone 1" and "Zone 2".
