Raspberry pi is the brain often complete system. All the scripts written to read from reader,send data to ERP and interpret the return data packet, run on rpi. The scripts are written in Python3. There is a script available on git lab that can configure the SD card once Ubuntu 22.04 OS is installed on the SD card. The details about how to configure the SD card is given in the next section. Various peripherals are connected to rpi pins. The general rpi pin configuration is given as below. The peripherals connected to different pins of rpi is given in the table on next page. You can use the table to know the controlling pin.
The addressing method in the script is GPIO. BCM and not GPIO. BOARD, which is more prevalent.
