Production/Store Perspective : Capps

CapPS is designed to ease the manufacturing process. Here we will know how CapPS will help in production. For this two new tools introduced here : Trolley and Tower.

Trolley is for transporting the raw material from one workstation to another. Trolley has the RFID tag, in which information about the trolley is stored and Tower is a controller it has a RIFD reader which will read Tags from the trolley and will collect the information. Through this information; trolleys will be tracked where it is moving on the shop floor so that we get to know the real time information of our work order. These overall information can be seen on ERP system via dashboards and reports.

To start the manufacturing process first of all Trolleys will be selected for the Raw material allocation. ERP will show the data for vacant trolleys for material request. Available material request list will be shown sequentially in the form of table on ERP as you can see in the following image. **Material request listing will be done as per the priority.** After material allocation on Trolleys **stock entry** will be done for material transfer for manufacturing and work order will be submitted ; then job card scheduling will be done followed by Work order. Now trolley will move for the workstation which is scheduled first. Trolley movement log can be seen on the dashboard on ERP. Job card scheduling for trolleys will be done at midnight 12 for the following day. After the completion of job cards trolley will be exited from the workstation .

In manufacturing process Trolleys will move around on different workstation based on routing.
