Elixir is a tuning fork based point level switch. The tines are kept vibrating on a fixed frequency and the change in frequency is determined when the liquid touches the tines and energizes the relay to changeover. Sapcon’s Capacitance Level Switch utilizing specially designed Immuno Coat Probe offers a solution for level limit detection of fine, coarse, bulky solids, non-sticky slurries and liquids. The probe comprises of a sense electrode, electrically isolated from the metallic tank by means of a suitable insulator. The sense electrode and the vessel wall serve as the two electrodes of a capacitor with the service material as the dielectric. A change in material level causes a change in the dielectric, which in turn causes the value of this tank capacitor to change.

Extractor feed hopper:

Soya oil is mainly produced by extraction with solvents. Flakers are put into a percolation extractor and immersed in a solvent, normally hexane. Oil is then extracted from Flakers and is processed for removing hexane in evaporators.

After solvent extraction process, the de-oiled material may be in the shape of flakes and cake soaked in solvent. The de-oiled oilseed material is toasted to reduce anti-nutritional factors, and is then dried within trading limit moisture requirements. The de-oiled oilseed material is then cooled to near ambient temperature to remain flowable during storage and transport.

Sapcon’s Solution for Loss Of Head & Rate of Flow

Sapcon provides solutions for measuring “Loss of Head” (LoH) (differential level) between upstream and downstream of the filter screen in open channels of WTP’s / ETP’s, filtration stations, water management systems, etc.

Sapcon also provides solutions for measuring “Rate of Flow” (RoF) of running water in open channels in WTP’s and ETP’s. Both applications can be achieved through two different principles, namely Ultrasonic-type and Capacitance-type.

Loss of Head

Two capacitance probes with pre-amplifier & still well (grounding pipe) on either side of the filter screen translate the level change into an electric signal by using the principle of capacitance. The relative difference between the two signals is processed by the evaluation unit and displayed as ‘LOSS OF HEAD’ digitally.

Rate of Flow

Whenever the liquid flows through a hydraulic measuring device (weir), the level of the liquid in weir is directly proportional to the rate of flow. By knowing the constants of the weir, flow rate can be calculated by using the following formula:

Q=KL , where Q is rate of flow in cubic meters per hour, L is the level in meters, K & n are constants that depend on the hydraulic device.

Limestone is a hard and bigger sized material stored in large silos from where it moves to its crushing stage. Cement is made by heating lime stone with addition of other minerals @ 1400 Deg C in Kiln.

The grate is made of steel and the cold air keeps it sufficiently cool to avoid melting or burning. The clinker progresses through the cooler by moving more-or-less horizontally along the grate. It basically contains HOT Clinker @ more than 400 Deg C.
