Sapcon Instruments offers Vibrating Fork…SLM series for Level limit detection of fine grained free flowing solid including very low density and pneumatically conveyed media, powders, plastic chips, cement, sand, sugar, food grains etc. It's used for switching conveyors off to avoid overflow and for indicating an empty tank well in time to avoid production stoppage. Vibrating Fork is used in applications requiring the processing of different types of material in the same vessel. It detects the level of granular material submerged in liquids of low viscosity, like sand, gravel or plastic chips under water. The instrument has a proven record of flawless operation in numerous applications in cement, ower, chemical, man-made fiber and food industries.

Mounting arrangements of the screwed or flanged type conforming to various standards are offered. High Temperature versions up to 200⁰C without the necessity of elaborate cooling arrangements and Flame Proof versions are provided for application in hazardous area. Adjustable Probe Length type is provided with gland arrangement for making length adjustments.

SLM has high durability as it neither has any moving parts nor requires maintenance. It involves a fast and an easy installation and needs no calibration. Every model has fail-safe high/low selection feature. It's insensitive to mechanical vibrations and buildup of material from vessel walls. The instrument is not affected by electrical properties of the service material and is also suitable in dusty and hazardous area.
